An "Amy" photo

Corey saw this and said "That's an Amy photo". I don't really intend to always shoot dead stuff, or garbage, or rusted, rotten things. It just ends up that way.

I shot this flower when it was fresh as well, but I ended up liking this one better. I like the subtlety of the tones and patterns of the veins in the petals.

I'm now officially a Mac person (instead of a wannabe with a Mac sticker on my PC). I'm amazed every time it just WORKS. I got Lightroom, and this is my first experimentation with it (this photo makes use of the clarity and vibrance adjustments). Although I'm missing the way IMatch lets you categorize your photos in a hierarchical structure pleasing to any neurotic organizer rather than a cloud of keywords, I am loving Lightroom's editing features. Looks like I won't even have to touch Photoshop for most of my editing.

About This Blog

My photos are about being in the moment and experiencing the richness of our everyday surroundings. Mind and eye become one and garbage cans in the alley spring to life in colour and light.

I'll be posting a new photo every Sunday.
